Stool and Frame

We have designed a special stool for the RA 1.15 lounge chair. We match the material and colors of the stool on the chair.

The frame is made of 10 mm full round steel. You can choose between the chrome-plated version in glossy or velour matt. Alternatively, we offer the frame powder coated in matte or glossy.

 

Design

The Chilean architect, Rodrigo Gonzalez, and the German lawyer, Alexander Sauer, conceived the idea of RA 1.15. An unfolding flower blossom and an open cigar box inspired them. The design process also followed Charles Eames’ credo that the recognition of need is a condition of good design.
